On February 7, cross-country skiing events will take place in Val di Fiemme, Italy, as part of the 25th 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The women’s 10 km + 10 km skiathlon will open the Olympic cross-country skiing tournament.
The skiers will race the first half of the course in the classic style, then change skis and cover the same distance in the freestyle or skating style.
A total of 70 skiers will take the start in the debut Olympic event.
