From February 11 to 22, the men’s ice hockey tournament will be held as part of the 25th Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo 2026.
12 national teams are taking part in the tournament. The 8 strongest teams according to the “IIHF” ranking. Italy qualified as the host nation, and three more teams qualified through the qualifying tournament.
Matches will be played at two hockey venues: “PalaItalia” and “Fiera Milano.”
The teams are divided into 3 groups of 4 teams each. The group winners and the best second-place team advance directly to the quarterfinals. The remaining participants in the quarterfinals will be determined at the end of the qualification round.
