February 11 – 21, the Olympic men’s curling tournament will take place at the “Olympic Stadium” in Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy).
10 national teams are taking part in the tournament. Italy will compete as the host nation. China and the USA qualified through the qualification process.
The teams from Great Britain, Germany, Canada, Norway, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden qualified based on qualification points earned at the 2024 – 2025 World Championships.
The reigning world champion is Scotland; at the current Olympic tournament, the Scots are competing under the flag of Great Britain. The team’s skip is Bruce Mouat.
In the group stage, the teams will play a round-robin format (each team plays every other team). The top four advance to the playoffs (semifinals), where the winner and medalists will be determined.
