On January 31, the quarterfinal match between the national teams of Armenia and Croatia will take place at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas (Lithuania), where the 2026 European Futsal or Mini-Football Championship is being held.
The Armenian national team is one of the tournament’s biggest surprises. Ruben Nazaretyan‘s team won Group B, finishing ahead of Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania.
Croatia finished second in Group A, behind France. Marinko Mavrović‘s side began their campaign with high-scoring draws against France and Georgia, both with the same score (2:2), followed by a convincing win over Latvia (4:1), which secured the Balkan team a place in the playoffs.
