On March 15, the women’s singles final will take place on the center court of the “Indian Wells Tennis Garden” in Indian Wells, USA, where the WTA-1000 series tournament “BNP Paribas Open-2026” is coming to a close.
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and Kazakh Elena Rybakina will compete for the California “thousand” title. Aryna is ranked number one in the world. Elena is in 3rd place, but will move past Poland’s Iga Świątek into second once the tournament concludes.
The head-to-head score (8-7) favors the “Belarusian star.”
At the start of the season, the players contested the Australian major’s main trophy, where in a dramatic battle Elena prevailed in 3 sets (6:4, 4:6, 6:4). Today, Aryna will try to avenge her painful defeat in Melbourne. Will she succeed? We’ll find out very soon…
