On February 10, the men’s 20 km individual race will take place at the “Anterselva Biathlon Arena” in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, where the 2026 Olympic biathlon tournament is being held.
A total of 89 biathletes will compete for Olympic medals in this intriguing discipline, where the result is unpredictable.
In the individual race, much depends on accuracy at the shooting range and the athletes’ physical condition.
The current leader of the overall World Cup standings, the ambitious Frenchman Eric Perrot, will start with bib number 38. Eric is also the holder of the season’s “red bib” for the best endurance athlete. Also worth noting is Eric’s renowned compatriot, Quentin Fillon Maillet. Quentin starts 54th.
Keep an eye on the Norwegians, led by Johannes Dale-Skjevdal. Dale-Skjevdal will race wearing bib number 58.
