On March 14, a 10 km women’s pursuit race will take place on the ski track at the “Tehvandi” stadium in Otepää (Estonia), where the 8th stage of the 2025/26 Biathlon World Cup season is underway.
As a reminder, the pursuit, or pasuit, features the 60 best biathletes based on the sprint results.
Overall standings | 2025/26 season calendar
Veteran Frenchwoman Julia Simon will lead off the pursuit. The newly crowned three-time Olympic champion continues to impress with her brilliant form. Thanks to strong performances late in the season, Julia has entered the Top 10 in the overall standings and continues her climb to the top. Italian Lisa Vittozzi will start 3 seconds later. Current overall leader Lou Jeanmonnot will round out the top three. Lou will start 23 seconds behind her teammate.
It is worth noting that Jeanmonnot is still in contention for the “small globe” in the pursuit. She is currently just 10 points behind Finland’s Suvi Minkkinen (287 to 277). Minkkinen will start 11th, more than a minute behind the leader (1:10).
Watch live on the “Suspilne Sport” channel to see how this intriguing head-to-head event unfolds, whether Jeanmonnot can overtake the Finnish biathlete, and what other surprises await us on the course.
Live broadcast starts at 17:00 (Eastern European Time UTC+2)
