On December 12, at the «Hochfilzen Biathlon Stadium» (Hochfilzen, Austria), where the second stage of the 2025/26 Biathlon World Cup gets underway today, the women will compete in a 7.5 km sprint.

Overall standings | 2025/26 season calendar
The current overall leader, Finland’s surprise contender Suvi Minkkinen, will start with bib number 66, wearing the “yellow-red bib“. Recall that a week ago, Suvi won the season-opening sprint in Östersund with confidence.
Second in the overall standings, Swedish biathlete Anna Magnusson, will start 74th. Anna has decided to race with a later start number.
It’s also worth noting the French team. The “tricolores” currently have a whole host of world-class cross-country skiers with excellent shooting skills, and practically any of them could reach the podium.
