On March 11, on the center court of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells (USA), where the ATP Masters 1000 tournament “BNP Paribas Open-2026” is being held, a fourth-round men’s singles match will take place.
World No. 1 Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will face Norwegian Casper Ruud. Casper is ranked 13th. The head-to-head record (5-1) favors the decorated Spaniard. Their previous match took place at the end of last season at the 500-level event in Tokyo and ended in a comeback win for the 22-year-old Spaniard (3:6, 6:3, 6:4).

On his way to the fourth round, Casper defeated Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko (6:1, 7:67-4) and rapidly improving Monegasque Valentin Vacherot (3:6, 6:3, 6:4).
