Carlos has made his way through the draw without dropping a set. In the previous round, he comfortably defeated Frenchman Corentin Moutet (6:2, 6:4, 6:1).
Paul has been just as impressive at this Grand Slam. Tommy opened with a win over fellow American Kovacevic (6:4, 6:3, 6:3), followed by a victory over Argentine Tirante (6:3, 6:4, 6:2) and, in the third round, Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (6:1, 6:1). Alejandro did not come out for the third set.
