On November 23, the final day of play at the 2025 Davis Cup will take place on the indoor court at “Unipol Arena” in Bologna, Italy. The most prestigious team tennis tournament.
The final tie is scheduled for today. The national teams of Italy and Spain will compete for the title.
Recall that the teams began the autumn leg of the tournament in the quarterfinals. On their way to the final, the Italians defeated Austria and Belgium by the same score (2:0). The Spaniards overcame the resistance of the Czechs and Germans (2:1). David Ferrer’s players had to play doubles twice.
Recall that Italy are the defending “Davis Cup” champions. Last year, they defeated the Netherlands team (2:0).
The teams’ top players are not participating in the tournament: Jannik Sinner (2) and Carlos Alcaraz (1). The day before, they played a grueling year-end tournament, where they competed for the title, and decided to rest.
Below, we invite you to meet the tennis players who will take part in the final showdown. If the teams each secure one win, the doubles match will decide the title.
