October 20 – 27, the 2025 World Championships in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling among athletes under 23 (U-23) continue on the mats of the “Spens” sports center in Novi Sad (Serbia).
In the final days of the tournament, freestyle wrestlers are competing for top honors in the following weight categories — 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 79, 86, 92, 97 and 125 kg.
A total of 241 athletes from 45 countries are taking part in the competition.

The United States team celebrated victory in the team standings. The American wrestlers scored 137 points. Iran’s team finished 10 points behind. Japan rounded out the top three with 85, edging Azerbaijan’s freestyle wrestlers by just one point.
Ukraine’s wrestlers scored 50 points and, alongside Uzbekistan, rounded out the Top 10.
