World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has withdrawn from the local tournament due to an injury sustained earlier in the United States.
In Aryna’s absence, world No. 2 Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan will lead the seeds. As the No. 1 seed, Elena will begin her campaign in the second round, where she will face either Germany’s Tamara Korpatsch or Russia’s Diana Shnaider.
The bottom half of the draw is led by American Coco Gauff. Coco will begin with a match against Croatia’s Antonia Ružić or Russian tennis player Liudmila Samsonova.
