On the night of October 4–5, the numbered UFC 320. fight tournament will take place at “T-Mobile Arena” in Las Vegas (USA).
The co-main event of the evening will be a fight for the UFC bantamweight title (up to 61.2 kg). The reigning champion, Georgian fighter Merab Dvalishvili, will face American Cory Sandhagen.
Merab will make his 3rd title defense. Recall that at UFC 306 in September 2024, he took the belt from American-Irish fighter Sean O’Malley. Then, in January this year at UFC 311, the “Machine” defeated Russian Umar Nurmagomedov, and beat “Sugar” again, this time at UFC 316, by stoppage (submission in the 3rd round — North-South choke).
Cory has had one fight this year. In May, he defeated former flyweight division dominator, Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo. Deiveson injured his knee in the second round.
